Who We Are

Beth H. Kinsley, Esq. Vice President – Assistant General Counsel

As Vice President – Assistant General Counsel, Beth is responsible for all legal aspects of the firm’s real estate acquisitions, dispositions, financings and developments. In 2008, Beth led Northland’s first acquisition undertaken entirely with in-house resources. The transaction, which included nine Class A communities with approximately 3,000 units, made Northland the largest apartment owner in Austin, TX.

Previously, Beth held the position of Senior Counsel in the Real Estate Department at Goodwin Procter LLP. At Goodwin, Beth represented a variety of real estate operators in connection with acquisitions and dispositions. She also represented institutional lenders, investors and borrowers in connection with construction, permanent and mezzanine loan and equity joint venture transactions. Prior to joining Goodwin, Beth was an associate at Mintz Levin and Palmer & Dodge. Beth received her J.D., cum laude, from The Dickinson School of Law and a B.A., cum laude, from Colby College.
