Peter M. Standish, Jr. Senior Vice President – Acquisitions/Development/Commercial Management

Mr. Standish is responsible for Northland’s development projects, commercial acquisitions and commercial management. During his seventeen-year tenure at Northland, he has been involved in the acquisition and development of 6 million square feet of commercial and multifamily properties valued at more than $600 million. His most notable accomplishment has been his stewardship of Hartford 21, including structuring and effectuating the complex public/private partnership and managing all aspects of the development.

Prior to joining Northland, he was a Portfolio Manager for Whittier Partners, managing the account of the firm’s largest client, Travelers Realty. During his tenure in commercial real estate brokerage, Peter represented corporate clients including AT&T and Bank of Boston. He holds a B.A. from Hobart College, an MBA from Babson College and the CCIM designation. A board member of A Better City and the Downtown Boston Business Improvement District Corporation, Peter is also a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, and the International Council of Shopping Centers.
